About Indian Climate Congress

The Indian Climate Congress (ICC) is a national platform dedicated to climate awareness, scientific advancement, sustainability, environmental innovation, and global harmony through research, education, and collaborative action.

Genesis of ICC

The Indian Climate Congress functions under the Satyasai Charitable and Educational Trust (SCET), Cuttack, Odisha (Regd. No.- 4352/451/1999). The organization was founded with the vision of creating a strong scientific platform to address climate change challenges through research, technology, innovation, and public awareness.

The idea was initiated by eminent Agricultural Scientist of India, Prof. Dr. Sanjay Kumar Samantarai, Alumnus of IIT Kharagpur, Former Dean of OUAT Bhubaneswar, and Former Chief Engineer & Director WALMI, Water Resources Department, Government of Odisha.

His vision was to establish an annual climate congress where scientists, researchers, innovators, students, and policymakers could collaborate to solve climate-related problems and contribute towards environmental sustainability and world peace.
